Ajax is the son of Ernst and showing all the driviness and unshakable nerve that we see in his father. Ajax has amazing ball drive and will chase the ball all day if we let him. He has been started in obiedence and shows a great focus on his handler as well as a high willingness to please. We recently started Ajax on some bitework and he exhibited the deep full bite that we love to see as well as a fully committment to the bite. He is very thorough in his tracking, slow and methodical with a deep strong nose that you can hear working!
In addition, Ajax loves children like every good shepherd should. He doesn't jump or knock them down despite his already large size. He is very gentle with them, but definately keeps an eye on them, where they are and what they are doing to make sure his kids are ok.
We have taken Ajax everywhere from our work to parades with running children, horses and kiddie trains and he showed his wonderful unflappable temperment in each situation.
